Warees is a licensed architect with over 20 years experience in mixed-use and market-rate multifamily architecture and design. He is an active member of NOMA and serves on the 2022 AIA Virginia Outreach Advisory Council. He is passionate about the role of architecture in changing lives, as well as, cultivating emerging professionals through mentorship, education, and inclusion initiatives like project pipeline. He has worked in Pittsburgh, Florida, Virginia, and Washington D.C. on a vast range of disciplines including healthcare, education, civic, and correctional facilities projects. Warees has established strong working relationships with clients by finding unique solutions to complex problems, and providing value through collaborative design and attention to detail. Through clear communication and open dialogue, Warees brings his passion for success to each project.

Mark Manetti has over 25 years of experience managing projects for different government agencies. He has worked on multiple public facilities including public safety, library, recreation centers. In addition, many of the projects Mark has developed have had historic significance and jurisdictional purview through local historic boards and regional groups such as the District historic preservation office (HPO) the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), and the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC). Mark works closely with his clients to document their standard workflows and to translate those into an appropriate building program. Mark is an advocate for resiliency in government projects and has in-depth knowledge of applying sustainable standards to public facilities. Mark approaches projects with focus and a sense of urgency that promotes decision making and moves schedules forward.

David has been involved in the Senior Living sector since 1999, and has been at the forefront of industry discussions through his affiliations with the AIA Design for Aging Knowledge Community, Environments for Aging (EFA) Conference, and the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA). Throughout his career, David has developed an astute understanding of the evolving global trends amongst seniors, and he has applied innovative principles to a range of communities, including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care facilities. Additionally, David has successfully managed the planning and design of affordable housing and retirement communities, senior living developments, and multifamily residential projects. He’s also consulted as an Owner’s representative during the construction of two Life Plan Communities, and with the aging process being universal, David has consistently been invited to give educational lectures nationally and internationally.

Benjamin is a dedicated Project Manager with 20+ years of experience on a variety of projects ranging from small tenant fit-outs to large-scale new construction developments. His portfolio includes multifamily housing, hotels, adaptive reuse, and commercial buildings. Ben’s responsibilities as a Senior Project Architect include coordinating the project team, providing technical leadership, and executing the design vision for the project. He is active in every aspect of the project, from schematic design to construction administration. In addition, Ben brings professionalism, great leadership skills, and creative thinking to the whole team.

John Treiber has experience in design and project management of multiple project types including mixed-use and build-to-suit commercial, residential, and retail renovations and new construction. John’s role involves working closely with clients, often involving multiple stakeholders to understand their mission and unique project requirements, and developing architectural solutions that enhance their operational goals.

Willy is a dedicated and highly motivated senior designer with 23+ years of experience in single and multi-family residential design as well as retail interiors. His diverse experience encompasses new construction, renovation, expansion, and planning of complex large-scale residential, student housing, hotel, and mixed-use projects. Willy is a valued leader at BKV Group and is known for his contemporary design aesthetic, attention to detail, and collaborative approach to leadership. Willy excels in collaborative relationships with clients and motivates team members to achieve deadlines and work within project constraints.
